William Kurelek’s life is well documented. Two versions of his autobiography, Someone with Me, have been published, and his substantial archives are today held at Library and Archives Canada, Ottawa. Kurelek was a man of great interest to others. His life and art were chronicled in documentary films, and in Patricia Morley’s book Kurelek: A Biography, which was published in 1986.
